How to read this report

Same six keys on every Astramide product page. Only the values change.
1Lot numberMatch it to the number printed on your vial. If they differ, this report is not for your vial.
2IdentityMass spectrometry confirms the molecule is the one on the label. It conforms or it does not. There is no partial result.
3Chromatographic purityThe share of the material that is the target peptide. A purity figure quoted without a method is not a purity figure.
4Net contentHow much peptide is in the vial, as measured by the laboratory. A different question from purity.
5EndotoxinMeasured against a ceiling, not a floor. Sensitivity differs by laboratory, so results are not compared across labs.
6Laboratory, method, dateWho ran it, on what instrument, and when. A report with no named laboratory or no date is not a report.

This 30 mL research solution contains GHK-Cu, the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, at a labelled 30 mg/mL (3%), together with hyaluronic acid at a labelled 2%. In GHK-Cu the copper is bound by the glycine amino nitrogen, the deprotonated glycyl-histidyl amide nitrogen and the histidine imidazole nitrogen, giving the formula C14H24CuN6O4 and a molecular weight of 403.9 g/mol. Hyaluronic acid is a linear polysaccharide of repeating D-glucuronic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine units (Laurent and Fraser, 1992). The current lot is a purple to blue liquid.

Mechanism and research context

What has been studied, and in what systems.

GHK was first described as a component of human plasma, and most later work examines it as its copper(II) complex, GHK-Cu (Pickart et al., 2008). Coordination chemistry studies have measured how GHK binds copper(II) and how GHK-Cu forms ternary complexes with other small molecules, such as cis-urocanic acid (Bossak-Ahmad et al., 2020). Cell culture studies, mostly in fibroblasts, have measured gene transcript levels and the synthesis of collagen and glycosaminoglycans in the presence of GHK-Cu (Pickart et al., 2008).

Hyaluronan, also called hyaluronic acid, is a high molar mass glycosaminoglycan found throughout the extracellular matrix. Its aqueous solutions are highly viscous, and its molar mass, distribution and turnover have been characterised in detail (Laurent and Fraser, 1992; Fraser et al., 1997).

This product combines the two in one aqueous solution. No published study has examined this specific formulation. Its certificate verifies the GHK-Cu component only.

These studies describe chemical, cell and animal systems. They do not describe effects in people.

These are published research systems. They do not describe approved clinical applications, and they do not establish efficacy or safety in humans.

Evidence level
Published GHK-Cu research consists largely of in vitro cell culture studies, coordination chemistry and preclinical animal work, and the physical chemistry of hyaluronan is well characterised. No published study has examined this combined formulation. Statements on this page describe experimental systems only and make no claim about outcomes in humans.

Frequently asked questions

About this compound and its batch data.

What is GHK-Cu 3% + Hyaluronic Acid 2% Solution Pro?

It is a 30 mL aqueous research solution containing GHK-Cu, the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide Gly-His-Lys, at a labelled 30 mg/mL (3%), with hyaluronic acid at a labelled 2%. GHK-Cu has the formula C14H24CuN6O4, a molecular weight of 403.9 g/mol and CAS number 89030-95-5. The current lot is a purple to blue liquid. Sold for research use only.

What has GHK-Cu been examined for in published research?

Published GHK-Cu research is pre-clinical. Coordination chemistry work has measured how GHK binds copper(II) and forms a ternary complex with cis-urocanic acid (Bossak-Ahmad et al., 2020, PMID 32867146). Fibroblast culture studies have measured collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis and gene transcript levels in the presence of GHK-Cu (Pickart et al., 2008, PMID 18644225). Astramide makes no claim about outcomes in humans.

What purity does the current lot reach?

Lot 202609GHK_Ser returned 99.89% purity for GHK-Cu by HPLC-DAD, reported by Hyte Research Division on 8 October 2026 under report AST#00002. Identity conformed to a GHK-Cu reference standard. The lot meets the Pro Series release criterion of at or above 99% HPLC purity. The full certificate is published on this page and can be verified on the laboratory’s site.

How much GHK-Cu is in the bottle?

The label claim is 30 mg/mL of GHK-Cu, or 900 mg across the 30 mL bottle. For lot 202609GHK_Ser, the laboratory measured 29.42 mg/mL by HPLC-DAD, which is 98.1% of the label claim, against a certificate criterion of at least 90%. Astramide publishes the measured figure exactly as the laboratory reports it, above or below the label.

Was the hyaluronic acid tested?

No. Certificate AST#00002 covers the GHK-Cu component only: identity, purity and concentration by HPLC-DAD. The 2% hyaluronic acid figure is the formulation’s labelled amount and was not measured on this certificate, and its molecular weight grade is not stated. Endotoxin, sterility, microbial limits and heavy metals were also not reported for this lot.

How should this solution be stored for research use?

Keep the bottle tightly closed, protected from light and away from heat, and store it under the conditions printed on the label. Avoid contamination of the dropper and repeated opening outside clean conditions, because both can affect the comparability of experimental results. Astramide publishes no shelf-life figure beyond the label for this lot.

How is it different from GHK-Cu Pro powder?

GHK-Cu Pro is lyophilized GHK-Cu powder in a sealed vial, released under its own lot and certificate. This product is a ready-made aqueous solution of GHK-Cu at 30 mg/mL with hyaluronic acid, released under lot 202609GHK_Ser with certificate AST#00002. A certificate for one product never covers the other, and the two are not interchangeable in an experiment.

How is Astramide's GHK-Cu 3% + Hyaluronic Acid 2% Solution Pro tested?

Lot 202609GHK_Ser was tested by Hyte Research Division, an independent analytical laboratory. The certificate reports GHK-Cu identity, purity and concentration by HPLC-DAD, with an overall disposition of pass, and it can be verified on the laboratory’s site with code JJR4-XHYV-0PN7. Hyaluronic acid content, endotoxin, sterility and heavy metals are not reported. Results are specific to this lot.

What does Pro Series mean for this product?

GHK-Cu 3% + Hyaluronic Acid 2% Solution Pro is part of the Astramide Pro Series. It is American-made, synthesized in the USA, and moves by domestic ground and air only, with no ocean freight. It is released under its own lot, and only when HPLC purity measures at or above 99%. The full certificate for each lot is published on this page.
