What does this category cover?

The category covers two main classes. GHRH analogs act at the GHRH receptor on pituitary somatotroph cells. Ghrelin receptor agonists, often called growth hormone secretagogues, act at the growth hormone secretagogue receptor, GHS-R1a (Sigalos and Pastuszak, 2018). It also includes related growth-regulatory proteins studied in the same context. Each product page lists molecular formula, molecular weight, CAS number where one is assigned, and sequence.

How is each lot tested?

Every lot is tested by an independent third-party laboratory against the same five-method panel before release: HPLC for purity, with a 98% minimum; mass spectrometry for identity; net peptide content against the label claim; endotoxin by LAL; and appearance. How are these compounds stored?

Lyophilized compounds are held at -20°C, protected from light and moisture. Once reconstituted, they are held at 2 to 8°C and used within the window stated on the product page. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided.
